The U.S. M1 Garand is a semi-automatic rifle that was known as the best standardized service rifle during WW2. This particular M1 Garand was manufactured in 1953 (Post WWII) by International Harvester Co., a company that never made firearms before until they were granted a contract to start making M1 Garand Rifles for the U.S. Government back in 1951. The U.S. Government chose this company based on its geographic location to avoid any possible attacks during the atomic age.
The M1 Garand is in great condition. No rust or scuff marks present on the rifle. The rifle has a 24" Steel Barrel and the overall length of the rifle is 43 1/2". The M1 Garand does come with a sling and a case.
