The Remington 38-40 REM rifle was first introduced in 1912 and was designed by John Pedersman. The Model 14 1/2 is the 2nd version of the Model 14 series (14, 14 1/2. 141). This rifle was a great sportsman's rifle up until the start of World War II.
The .38-40 rifle is in good condition. No rust is present, however there are some knicks and minor scuff marks on gun. The rifle is missing a butt stock plate. The Model 14 1/2 is 41" in length and has a 22" Steel Barrel. The ammo capacity for this pump rifle is 5 rounds.
